The Château Clarisse 2014 is a blend of 80% Merlot and 20% Cabernet Franc matured in one-third new oak. It has a pleasing blackcurrant pastille and iodine-scented nose that is nicely defined and pure. The palate is medium-bodied, soft in the mouth, fine acidity and a lightly spiced, weighty finish. Fine.
