The Puisseguin Terroir

Carte des sols Puisseguin Saint EmilionThe exceptional conditions found at the Puisseguin Terroir make for quality wine.

This is firstly due to its predominantly southern/south-eastern exposure and elevation of about 100 meters (making it one of highest points in the Gironde valley).

Its main asset is the clay-limestone soil on which it is located, which allows roots to grow deep and preserves humidity in the ground.

Combined, these factors allow the vine to thrive and the grapes to fully mature.
